Privacy Policy

This policy explains how chilldaemon.com and its game ChillBrain (together, “the sites”) handle information. The sites are operated by Jorge Raymund Maravilla (“we”). We keep data collection to the absolute minimum needed to run the game.

The short version: You can play ChillBrain without giving us any personal information. Your progress is stored on your own device. If you choose to sign in with Google to sync progress, we store only an anonymous account identifier and your game progress — never your name, email, or photo. ChillBrain shows ads via Google AdSense, which may use cookies.

1. Information we store

Game progress (on your device): your levels, stars, lifelines, chosen game name and colour are saved in your browser’s local storage. This never leaves your device unless you sign in to sync.
If you sign in with Google (optional): we receive a verified Google account token, from which we keep only the opaque account identifier (Google’s “sub” value) so we can save your progress to it. We do not store or use your name, email address, profile photo, contacts, or any other Google data.
Synced game progress: when signed in, your game progress (levels, stars, lifelines, game name, colour) is stored on our server, linked to that anonymous identifier.

We do not collect your location, contacts, files, or browsing history, and we do not sell or share your information.

2. Advertising (ChillBrain only)

The ChillBrain game displays advertising through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads. We request non-personalised, family-friendly (G-rated) ads. Ads appear only in the ChillBrain game — the rest of chilldaemon.com (including the portfolio) shows no ads.

3. Children

ChillBrain is a general-audience game made for adults (it was created for the developer’s mother and her friends). It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

4. Your choices

Play without signing in — nothing is sent to us.
Sign out at any time from the game’s home screen.
Clear your browser’s local storage to erase on-device progress.
Request deletion of your synced data (see contact below) — we remove the record linked to your account identifier.

5. Data security & retention

Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections and stored on a private server. Synced progress is retained until you request deletion or the account is inactive.

6. Changes

We may update this policy; the “last updated” date above will change accordingly.
